Awaken Day Retreat-2023

Something magical happens on the other side of “Yes.” Seventeen special women took the leap to discover just what that was at a yurt nestled in the woods.

The morning began with a circle of brief discussion and introductions to get to know one another, and then the party started! We danced, we laughed, we got really close to each other's feet, and we shook our Buti’s until we couldn't anymore. The Buti practice Lynn guided really unlocked many emotions within us all to prepare us for some lunch and conversation.

Lunch was served in the rain under an awning, as the PNW always has predictably rainy weather even in June, and brought back to our cozy yurt tucked away in the pines. The freshly made Kiwi salad was a hit (message if you want the recipe because everyone else did) and new friends were made over breaking bread.

Once our bellies were full, we wrapped up in our parkas and began our mini trek through the woods. It was time to find some organic treasures to put into our cedar smudge sticks! From flowers to ferns everyone's smudge stick was beautiful and unique. Just the kind of creativity and connection to nature we were all craving.

Finally with jackets off, smudge sticks drying, and mats cleared of foliage, Kami began to guide us on the journey of Kundalini and Sound Healing. With intentional movement, a little sweat and a lot of  breath we Awakened with this aptly named kriya. Once the crystal bowls began to sing, Lynn provided Reiki to close out this remarkable day retreat.
