Leavenworth 2023
Want a weekend getaway that SEEMS like you’re in a far away country, but is only 2 hours away? Well, so did everyone else! Lookout Leavenworth, 17 spunky ladies all decided to light the fire of self love this snowy February in 2023, and boy did that fire burn bright!
The weekend began with charcuterie, bingo and so much laughter as we unpacked and got to know one another. Some came with long time friends, others with their siblings, but in the end we all became sisters in crime (but no real crime, don’t worry).
Buti yoga whipped our butts and filled our hearts Saturday morning. Leaving us room for breakfast, and a little friendly competition - a scavenger hunt through town! Of course shopping and eating happened along the way. We ate lunch and chose the victor of the yoga pose scavenger hunt (Erryn, Laura & Camille). Then came more yoga (Restorative flow), conversations and food! Leaving us with the realization “we need to go see the Christmas lights!” Into town one more time and off to enjoy the view and some cozy beverages nearby.
Primal Flow woke us up bright and early Sunday and LOOK! It was snowing! Such a magical moment to witness snow falling softly around you. Once showered, fed and for some (leaving to escape the snowy drive), the rest of us circled up to discuss self love and what that means to us, how to find it and how to practice it each and every day. With new routines and practices decided upon, we wandered off to go wine tasting in town at Patterson Cellars. One of us (Lindsey) got certified as a genu-wine Sommelier (pun intended). A little more shopping and off to dinner we went in our nicest attire and happiest of moods.
Our evening officially ended in our private hot tub with so much laughter and beautiful connection. The cold weather never felt so warm than in that moment being together basking in the light of each other's inner fires. Leavenworth “Ignited” something new in all of us. Are you next?
